Band Websites That Inspire Us

We've been looking on various band's websites to get inspiration for our own. Here are some things which we liked:
This is a bar of social network sites which the band use. We found this on Good Charlotte's official website towards the top of the page. I think that it's important to have links to these sites because the fans can go on and immediately be able to interact with the band and see what they're up to.
This is on Set It Off's official website. It's a live twitter feed, so it means that whilst on the website you can see their latest 'tweets' as they happen. It enables the fans to feel much more included with the band and connects them more to each individual member.
This is from Taylor Swift's official website. It's a box on the side of the page showing her tour dates, giving the option at the bottom to 'view all'. This is great because as soon as the fans go onto the website, they can straight away see whether or not Taylor is touring, what her next shows are and where else she's going.

This is on Nirvana's official website. I really like the fact that the name of the band is incorperated into the artwork and photos. This is located at the top of the website so it's the first thing that you see when the page opens; you immediately know you're on the right site! I really love the fact that the overall image is made up of photos and objects which are personal to the band. For example, the first copies of their albums (on tape, of course!), photos of the band in their personal life, wings for Kurt etc.
This is on the website for My Chemical Romance. It's at the top of the page and it enables you to play the songs from their new album for free. This is a really good feature as it allows the fans to preview the album and see if they like it, and also to listen to music whilst browsing the website.
This is from We The King's official website. It's an advertisement and link to their new album. It's a good way to sell them because it's probably the biggest thing on the website and the first thing you see. Also, if the fans don't know there's a new album, they will straight away see it when they go onto the website.
This is on the website for Panic! At The Disco. It's underneath the tour dates down the side of the page and it's a link to their online merch store. This is really useful for the fans as they can browse the store for presents etc without having to go to too much trouble.
This is from Never Shout Never's official website. It's their latest video and is updated every time they bring out a new video. This is good because it allows the fans to keep completely up to date.
This is from A Day To Remember's website. It's a link to their latest photos so fans can look through and add to it if they want.
This is from Katy Perry's website. It's a link so when you click on it, it directs you to videos, links, photos and tour dates.

These two images are from Three Days Grace, it's a link to a registration form which you fill in in able to receive regular newsletters. The newsletters include information on tours, photos, what the band is up to, new merch offers, pre sale tickets etc. So, it's a great way for the fans to stay completely up to date with the band.
This is from Paramore's  official website. Similar to the previous post, by joining the Paramore 'family' you get access to more information, videos, events and photos then everyone else. You're also put first for competitions, pre sales and sound check.
