30 Seconds to Mars have a habit of creating controversy in the music industry. This is due to Jared's vivid and strange ideas and interpretations. Because of this, the music video for Hurricane was banned as it contain explicit images of a sexual and violent nature.

Although our video isn't going to be explicit, we are showing violence and possibly blood so it's not exactly tame. I think this is sticking partly to some conventions of 30 Seconds to Mars' videos.
